here's a backlog of photos that i hadn't developed. i'm still trying to get this whole printing thing down. i think it is interesting when the negative is really "thin" like not well exposed. it really brings out the x-processed colors. i'm going to try to shoot a roll with everything two stops underexposed.

...and here is my first attempt at printing color film. the locations include palm springs, joshua tree, and the huntington library.

so this is my first time developing and printing my own film. i had no idea that it was such a meticulous craft. i'm pretty happy with the results. i will definitely be printing all my work from now on! the top photos are of a "secret" break north of country line. it only works a couple days a year. this day it was perfect, but a crew had it on lock down, so i was only able to get a few waves. it was worth it though for those shots.
